Getting Rid Of Acne With Proactiv
Like many people my age, I’ve spent a long time getting rid of acne. I’ve tried going to many dermatologists and tried every over the counter medicine that exists. None of them came anywhere close to working.
I began to fall into a deep depression over the fact that my acne problems were going to be there for my whole life; not only would they persist throughout my youth, but they would remain visible for the rest of my life as scars. When I first learned about proactiv, I wasn’t convinced that it was going to be any better than any other potential acne cure. Thankfully, I was wrong.
This company really discovered something that every other company seemed to be missing – not only is this one of the most cost-effective acne medicines on the market, but it’s certainly the best, at least in my case. I have many other friends who have started taking proactiv based on my recommendation and they are all extremely happy that they decided to do so. Not only did I recommend this to my friends, but I also recommended this to most of my family members, as acne is something that runs in my family. My brother in particular was surprised at how quick and effective this was in curing his problem, which was actually even worse than mine.
I will be forever in debt to the proactiv company, as they managed to do something that no other company in the market was capable of doing; making me acne free. I feel like if more people knew about proactiv and knew how cheap it can be (if you find it on the right online site) there would be a lot fewer miserable teenagers out there. These guys have created something that is the closest thing to a miracle in the dermatology market. I never thought that this would actually be something that could be almost completely cured, but apparently this company and its scientists know something that the rest of us don’t. Give proactiv a try today.

Tips On How To Get Rid Of Acne
The following is a guest post from Cristina Pontevedra, experienced esthetician and owner of “IPL Hair Removal Guide, a site about hair removal treatments.
Personally I fought with pimples and blackheads for most of my adolescence. My skin has experienced a flood of treatments, ranging from homemade, like toothpaste applied directly on pimples to the birth control pill. Today I want to talk about some methods for acne sufferers in a mild form of this troublesome disease, these remedies work for males and for females as well.
One of the most effective cure for acne is found in products based on salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, they both work quite well. They are sold in creams, gels, lotions and sticks, usually in the name of the commercial product is reported the percentage of those active ingredients. It would say something like “productname 5%” for example. The higher the percentage is, the greater the concentration.
Pay attention: both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide used as acne remedies can cause irritations, such as small burns, because they are photosensitive and some dermatologists recommend to use them only in autumn and winter, so forget to enjoy the sun during your acne treatment. Salicylic acid, as well as glycolic, exfoliates the skin; this is a kind of slight peeling of the very first stratum of your skin. Pay attention also here to the burning and redness. In short, the success rate is high, but remember that it is an antibacterial treatment and if your acne is of a hormonal type there is not much to do with these drugs.
For the application of benzoyl peroxide and the salicylic acid, clean the part to be treated well, let dry 5 minutes and then apply the cream or gel. Do not overdo the dosage, wait 15 minutes for it to dry and at that point you can decide to put a non greasy moisturizer.

Tips For Getting Rid Of Acne
Almost everyone knows that to fight acne effectively you need to start a daily routine of washing your face at least two times a day and apply antibacterial acne washes to your face just as often. Most people will even make a trip to their dermatologist to have prescriptions written for acne fighting medications. However, most people leave out one very important step for getting rid of acne. That secret step is exfoliating at least two to three times a week.
No matter how good your facial soap is or how often you wash your face, your face is still covered in dead skin cells. When these skin cells finally fall off, they can mix with the natural oils on your face and stay there, clogging your pores and causing yet another breakout. This is compounded by the fact that acne prone skin generally produces more dead skin cells than regular skin, and those that are produced remain on the surface of your skin instead of falling off in the form of dust.
Exfoliating at least twice a week solves this problem by removing the dead skin cells from your face. It also deep cleans your pores, removing any dirt and oils that may have been left behind by your facial wash. This equates to not only less breakouts, but a healthier, brighter complexion on the whole because all of the dull, dead skin cells are removed from your face, leaving only the bright, living ones.
When you are looking for exfoliating creams there are two types that you can buy, physical and chemical. Physical exfoliating creams physically remove the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin with the help of a scrub or other abrasive substance. Chemical exfoliating creams, on the other hand, work by loosening the chemical bonds that hold the dead skin cells to your face. Chemical exfoliating compounds are generally gentler on your skin and thus work better for sensitive, acne-prone skin. The next time you¡¯re in the drugstore don¡ forget to pick one up!
